ATD MODEL of aPLI
The aPLI (advanced Pedestrian Legform Impactor) is a new impactor for foot gait protection. It models the leg with lower leg, knee, thigh and a simplified upper body.
The ATD-aPLI as a simulation model of the aPLI was developed in close coordination with the hardware developer and manufacturer Cellbond-ATD.
The ATD-aPLI benefits from our many years of experience with the ATD-H3 models, which is particularly evident in the robust modelling and structured design.
Some of the special features of the ATD-aPLI are
- Pretensioning in flesh and neoprene
- Understanding of the structure through realistic mapping of the geometries
